The Toronto Centre for Ultrasound Studies, TCUS offers registry exam preparation theory and hands-on practical scanning training programs in various specialty areas. Our theory classes are focused on preparing the participants for writing the Registry Specialty Examinations.

Certificate of participation shall be awarded upon successful completion of the individual training programs. To ensure individual attention, classes are held in short groups.

UT 101: Abdomen & Small Parts

UT 102: Musculoskeletal

UT 103: Gynecology & Obstetrics

UT 201: Vascular Scanning

UT-401: Echocardiography

The hands-on training shall bridge the theoretical knowledge of the participant in the practical sonographic examination. The hands-on programs shall include a brief overview of the theoretical concepts and training in scanning techniques. The participants shall be provided with the opportunity for scanning using ultrasound equipment.

Each Level-100 hands-on program has a duration of 7-weeks with 30-32 hrs of supervised hands-on training and upto 14-hrs of practice sessions.

The duration of the Echocardiography hands-on training program is 12-weeks with over 50-hrs of supervised hands-on training and 30-hrs of practice sessions.
